Pastor Leo came in Mityana as a job seeker all the way from Rukungiri District and settled in Mityana for about 6 years before befoe the establishment of the church in this area. How ever, he realized there was a group of believers who had migrated from Kenya.

By 2003, Bro. Paul a police officer by profession was given a transfer to Mityana Police Station where he incidentally met Bro. Leo. Arrangements were made to shift the place of fellowship from Kakonde to Mityana town (by the time of their meeting, bro. Paul for some few months attended fellowship in Kakonde together with others). What would be the next step? Finances to begin a Church in town were not available, but by the grace of the Lord; after Bro. Therefore, from 2003, Bro. Leo has worked with Bro. Paul in this ministry where many have been called. The Church has and is growing in number under the pastor ship of Bro. Leo Ruhwabwoba. Pastor Leo married in 2006 to his beloved wife and he is now is currently a full time Minister which has enabled him fulfill the demands of the assembly as well as yielding more to the Kingdom.
